We've been getting tons of great feedback and suggestions in the comments, and we wanted to highlight some of the things that have been discussed there.

NEW SHIELD DESIGNS

A few backers mentioned that some of the shield poses looked a bit awkward, so we're going to rework some shields so that they are side-carried. In order to make this work so that the hole for the steel plug will cast correctly, some shields may have to be cast in two separate pieces and then glued. We'll make sure assembly is simple.

ADDITIONAL SETS

We've decided to offer some additional optional sets that will be available through the pledge manager after the campaign. (NOTE: These sets are not included with the Legendary Tier). These are based on suggestions from backers and we're able to do these in time because we actually have many of these things already designed! If you don't see your suggested idea below, don't worry, we'll continue to make tons of additional items for the future. The list so far is:

Empty Hands Set

• Extra empty hands in different poses. Fist, grasping, pointing, etc. 
• Mostly existing poses, some new.
• 8 total (4 left & 4 right) - $5

Spell Effects Set

• Energy bolt, energy shield, energy ball, wand, etc.
• These will be mostly new models to go along with the Flaming Hands set that was unlocked as free for the Legendary tier and as a $3 add-on for everyone else.
• 6 total (3 left & 3 right) - $6

Musical Instruments Set

• Lyre, horn, lute, and flute.
• These will be new models to go along with the pan flute from Series 3.
• 4 total (2 left & 2 right) - $5

OTHER A LA CARTE

We are also going to make each individual figure, individual accessories series, and extra magnet and steel plug sets available a la carte through the pledge manager. Price estimates will be:

• Hero Figures - $10 each
• Series 1 Weapons & Items - $15
• Series 2 Weapons & Items - $25
• Series 3 Weapons & Items - $50
• Goblin 3 Pack - $25
• 25 extra magnets - $3
• 25 extra steel plugs -$3

*If you want to add any of the above to your order, feel free to adjust your pledge now to help unlock things faster, but if you're unsure you can decide after the campaign no problem. The sets and other a la carte items are not included with the Legendary Tier.

FIGURE SIZES

As requested, here's a comparison of some HoG figures with some existing figures. HoG features and hands are a bit exaggerated to make the magnet system work, but nothing too crazy. As we say, they won’t “dwarf” your other minis :)

Extended Early Bird!

Week 1 Update!

REDDIT AMA 

We're excited to announce we're going to do an AMA on Reddit over on r/minipainting tomorrow (Thursday 7/20) at 10am ET, so join us there and ask us anything about HoG, or 3D design, or 3D printing, or anything!

STRETCH GOALS 

We've adjusted and revealed the rest of the stretch goals for the campaign. We'd love to introduce the new figure (Free for Legendary Tier!) and we know you would too, so all of your help spreading the word is much appreciated!

Wow! Honest and sincere thanks to everyone for an amazing launch day! We’re excited for the opportunity to make these minis and items and get them into your hands so you can see how fun they are.
